MEET YOUR Treasure Coast TAP League Licensees

Learn a little more about your League Licensees, our passions, and our history.

Micah "Doc" Daugherty

Micah ("Doc") has been playing pocket billiards since he was 6-years old.  He has a passion for the sport, and his goal is to grow awareness of the sport and see it flourish.  Doc has played in several league formats for over 10 years.  He played in the TAP National Singles Championships in 2016, 2017, and 2018, as well as playing on several TAP "Dream Teams" over the past decade and other amateur league national tournaments.  Doc was an active member and player on the Sunshine State Predator Tour for a few years and has played in a few high-level and professional events (most recently the 2022 International Open in Norfolk, Virginia).

His uncle, Frank Stock, was a professional trick shot exhibitionist in the late 1960's and early 1970's, and he played with (and against) some of the greats in the game (like Minnesota Fats, Buddy Hall, and Willie Mosconi).  His father was also an avid pool player... and Doc learned from both his uncle and father at this early age.  He has carried the torch from his father and uncle by coaching his players to reach higher levels, and his desire is to continue coaching players in the Treasure Coast TAP League hone their skills and grow with the sport.

Needless to say, Doc is NO stranger to competitive billiards, and that passion has led him to become a licensee for the TAP Amateur Pool League.

Alley Peters

Alley is also no stranger to pocket billiards.  She has been an active league player and member in several leagues for over 10 years.  Her ability as a player and as an advocate for the sport of pocket billiards has grown over her career as a player.

Alley has played in several TAP National Tournaments and other national pool league events in Singles play and team play.  Alley was a player on the Ladies' Team that won the first TAP Rally In the Desert National Tournament, held in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2019... and her ability as a player continues to grow.

Like her "other half", Doc, she has a passion for the sport and has a deep desire to see it grow.  This is what has prompted Alley to become a TAP League Licensee.
